Two Words:Impact Music

DREAMJOB

Definetly watching them at first I held my breath at the amazing sound that emitted from the stage at the DBR concert at the August Wilson Cultural Center [Pittsburgh,PA].
Barrett Black's [The Cellist] rich, gravelly yet elastic voice coupled with a retro soul/funk voice of Ricardo Iamuuri.  I always have a craving for music that stimulates my mind. Literally sending chills down my spine. [Real Music that is timeless] I have found it in DreamJob.  There's Beatboxing, Accordians, drums [Percussionist: David Neuhart], it's surprisingly amazing! Barrett possessed  something like Sananda Maitreya 's[formallyTerrance Trent D'arby ]voice.  And Ricardo reminded me of the soul funkers Martin Luther & Cody Chestnutt.

DreamJob is definitely a stunning, soulful approach to merging old influences and new realities.
I had no idea that they would be apart of this night 10/10/2010, I sure am glad I did.  Like DBR said he didn't consider them as an open act, they were collectivly a part of the show.

"Remember the River"

"On the other Side"

and everything they drop is like honeydew! I love it!
